NEW MONTH

     PROVERBS 4:23,"
                                  Above all else guard your heart for there flows the issues of life."
                                 Most people walk all through in life without guarding their heart, they  allow the hurts, pain, discouragement and suffering from yesterday into their secret                place(Heart) without realizing that it will have an effect on them. The secret place is a            place of peace, a place where the fruits of the spirit are, a place where specific people       and specific things should be allowed there. People who make you feel bad, the                    negative things which does not help you to carry on and reach your dreams should not          be allowed there. In the bible when Jesus was called to raise Jairus's daughter from the
dead in Luke 8:40-42, 49-56, When Jesus was speaking to Jairus's, there was a synagogue ruler who said,"your daughter is dead, don't bother the teacher anymore". 
But Jesus never paid attention to that and when you read downwards to verse 53 when 
he had arrived at Jairus's house, He told them she is asleep but not dead and this made
the people laugh at Jesus because they knew she was dead. But i love what Jesus did, he never allowed anyone in the room except Peter, James, John and the parents of the girl.Jesus also had a secret place, he only allowed people who believed what he believes 
and sees what he sees because he didn't want any distractions in the miracle which was about to take place. Jesus could have allowed everyone to see the miracle, after all  he is the son of God and could do the miracle anyway he wanted it but no he didn't. He made sure to guard his heart from the negative comments and doubts which were all over him.This is the way to start the new month, make sure to empty out all the negative, the worries, the people who never speak good of you, the things hindering you from serving God in your christian life. Be very selective in the things you allow into your secret place,don't just allow anyone there but people who believe what you believe, people who will journey the world just to accomplish your dreams with you, choose this kind of people and your life will never be the same.
